There are many styles of popcorn. In Hawaii they have Hurricane Popcorn where they use Furikake and add Japanese rice crackers. At Popped we have created our own blend of Nori, sesame, wasabi, furikaki and bonito flakes to make Oishi Nori Popcorn. We are constantly reworking the blend to create the perfect combination.

Being from Hawaii, this Oishi Nori known as Hurricane popcorn is really Ono. So Ono I’ll be buying this for omiyage for friends and family back home. The difference is, it tastes gourmet. Popcorn isn’t soggy like most prepackaged hurricane popcorn sold. The popcorn used is kettle corn, but this recipe is really good. Try um, you won’t regret it!
